HUNGRY hound Louis was feeling below par until vets removed five golf balls he wolfed down from his stomach.
Owner Rebecca Miles took in her Springer Spaniel Labrador cross after he lost his appetite and kept being sick.
Vets thought an X-ray showed ping-pong balls but Rebecca, of Birmingham, knew different.
She said: “We often walk at a golf course. Louis occasionally finds balls and drops them when asked.
"I never imagined he had swallowed some.
"It's such a relief to get to the bottom of it, have them removed and see Louis making a full recovery."
