Police launch appeal to find missing schoolgirl, 14, who vanished five days ago

- The teenager is believed to have links with Runcorn, Cheshire, police confirmed
Police are hunting for a 14-year-old schoolgirl who went missing five days ago in Merseyside.
Kaitlin McLellon has not returned home or been seen since Friday, when she was spotted in Anfield, Liverpool.
She was wearing a dark pink padded coat with a fur hood, dark grey leggings and grey trainers when she was last seen five days ago, Merseyside police confirmed.
The 14-year-old is described as being 5ft 6in tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes, and is believed to have links with Runcorn, Cheshire.

Merseyside police have now urged anyone with information about Kaitlin’s whereabouts to contact them.
A police spokesperson said: ‘Please share and help us find missing Anfield teenager Kaitlin McClellon.
’14-year-old Kaitlin was last seen in the Anfield area on Friday 13 August. She is described as white, 5ft 6in tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
‘When last seen, Kaitlin was wearing a dark pink padded coat with fur hood, dark grey leggings, and grey trainers. She also has links to Runcorn in Cheshire.’
People are urged to pass on any sightings of Kaitlin via the Merseyside Police missing person form or provide any other information by calling police on 101 or the charity Missing People on 116 000.
