Portland’s Voodoo Doughnuts opens at Denver International Airport

Just in time for Halloween, Voodoo Doughnuts has landed at Denver International Airport.

The Portland-based doughnut chain opened its first airport location in DIA’s Concourse B on Friday, making it the third location in the Denver area. The store is one of 56 concessions coming to the airport by 2023, including local favorites like Rosenberg’s, Uncle and D Bar.

Voodoo Doughnuts has 15 locations around the U.S., including in Texas, Oregon, Colorado and California. It opened its first Denver store, at 1520 E. Colfax Ave., in 2013 and a second at 98 S. Broadway in 2019. A fourth is set to open soon at 3210 Arapahoe St. in Boulder.

Some of the doughnut chain’s specialties, among 50 unique flavors, include Bacon Maple Bar, Memphis Mafia, a banana and cinnamon fritter with chocolate and peanut butter drizzle, and The Cannolo, a donut resembling a cannoli with cream cheese filling.
