A PR director was compared to Alan Partridge after an article on his working week went viral.
Dean Gallagher saw a mixed response after his five-day diary was released to the public on a PR and marketing news site.
Many questioned if it was real, as the 29-year-old's comments such as "last thought of the day: Syria" were mocked.
The article was published on Prolific North, and outlined the enthusiastic Manchester based director's daily musings and activities.
Fans and those in disbelief were quick to draw a comparison to the spoof TV and radio presenter – famous for cringeworthy lines.
Dean was instantly teased by Twitter users who picked out diary entries such as: "The team are still buzzing from yesterday's results. Legends, one and all. Next".
Will Orchard posted: "If Partridge were an agency director."
And Martin Walsh added: "Are you sure this isn't really Dean Partridge?".
Throughout the week Dean notes down a colleague has returned to work with him, and the pair celebrated with a "welcome hug" and a drink.
He later writes: "Last thought of the day: Why did I Deliveroo again? Gym soon. Oh, please, how many times have you said that to yourself Dean?".
Thursday saw Dean head to a briefing session: "Uber drivers can talk… Plush offices. This business is insane. Impressive growth. Unique. Fast paced. There’s a lot to love.
"We’ll work well together. Interrogating a brief is always the fun bit. We talk about the best team to develop the proposal in the car."
Friday's entry rounds off the diary, with Dean writing: "'The week closes, as it always does, with a million and one questions flying around my grey matter.
"Will we be stretched on new business next week? Who should be added to our prospects list? Where’s the next award winning campaign coming from?"
Eager to know more, India Morris, wrote to the PR director: "Hi Dean, please could you let me know what you're doing for the rest of this week?
