Princess Charlotte’s caring gesture to Queen shows she takes after Kate – expert

Princess Charlotte is said to take after her mother Kate Middleton after an expert pointed out a key moment during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's daughter joined the royal festivities where she was spotted alongside the Queen, Prince Charles, her parents Prince William and Middleton as well as brothers George and Louis.

But a body language expert has said that the appearance alongside the family at the People's Parade during the Jubilee celebrations reveals how similar Charlotte is to her mother.

The balcony celebrations for the Platinum Jubilee are said to have shown Charlotte is just like her mum, Kate Middleton.

Body language expert Judi James said: "Charlotte stood to attention and sang the anthem as confidently as Louis beside her but she again showed her empathetic, caring side.

"When Beatrice was sobbing uncontrollably during Prince Philip ’s memorial it was Charlotte who threw her a concerned glance, prompting Beatrice to smile to show she was ok.

"Here it was Charlotte throwing a similar look of caring concern to her great grandmother as the family sang the National Anthem."

James, speaking to The Mirror, continued: "She seems to have inherited the trait from Kate, who stroked Louis constantly to keep him happy and who bent down to his height to talk to him once he had taken his place in the line-up."

Prince Charlotte and mum Middleton were seen sharing a number of moments with one another at the Platinum Jubilee service, which commemorated 70 years of the Queen's reign.

The Queen was unable to attend services on Friday and Saturday, including a Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral after it was reported that the first day of engagements had left her in pain.

Daily Star reported that the Queen would do all she could to overcome her mobility issues, which it is understood the Queen has been suffering from over the past few months.
