Saudi dictator prince with personal ‘death squad’ could be at Queen’s funeral

A Saudi dictator who has his own personal death squad may attend the Queen's funeral, it has been revealed.

It comes as Prince Mohammed bin Salman is set to travel to London to offer his country’s condolences to the royal family, a source told the Guardian.

The trip will be his first time visiting the UK since Jamal Khashoggi, a columnist for The Washington Post, was brutally murdered in October 2018.

British imposition of sanctions including bans on a group of courtiers close to the crown prince was subsequently introduced. They were linked to the killing inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.

Following the journalist's death, leaders such as US President Joe Biden and former PM Boris Johnson have met with the Prince. They've asked him to boost oil production to crackdown on energy prices.

Despite their pleas, the Saudi regime has displayed no signs of wanting to increase oil production even after he met with Johnson back in March.

The regime still hasn't made any huge domestic reforms regarding the punishment of human rights advocates.

It has been reported that sources are yet to go into more detail about what Prince Mohammed will be doing on the weekend.

However, sensitive judgments are still underway on whether his attendance at the service would be a sensible idea as it could spark protests due to his presence.
