Second teenager charged with conspiracy to murder over shooting of activist Sasha Johnson

A SECOND teenager has been charged with conspiracy to murder over the shooting of rights activist Sasha Johnson.

Sasha, 27, remains critical after she was hit in the head at a party.

The Taking The Initiative Party member had been in a garden in Peckham, South London, when men burst in and opened fire on May 23.

Devonte Brown, 18, of Southwark, appeared before Westminster JPs yesterday after he was charged on Friday.

He was remanded in custody to appear to the Old Bailey on July 7.

Cameron Deriggs, 18, of Bromley Hill, is in custody on the same charge to appear on June 25. 

Four men held three days after the shooting have been bailed until later this month.
