Serious incident near major airport with 'at least one injured' before 'cops shoot knifeman' | The Sun

AT least one person has reportedly been stabbed at a busy train station.

Cops rushed to Gateway Gardens station near Frankfurt Airport in Germany before shooting the alleged knifeman.


The station was evacuated amid reports of a person allegedly carrying a knife on the S8 train.

Dozens of emergency vehicles were dashed to the scene after at least one passenger was reportedly knifed – though it is feared more people were attacked.

Frankfurt Police said the suspect has been shot and is injured.

They did not confirm, however, what prompted them to open fire.
