A Sesame Street theme park is facing backlash after a character, Rosita, was accused of deliberately snubbing two young girls at a parade.
Mum Jodi took her two daughters to Sesame Place on Sunday (July 17) and showed them the parade when colourful floats and characters marched through the Philadelphia attraction.
In the video she shared on Instagram, Rosita the turquoise-coloured monster is waving at the crowd and giving high-fives to a young children in front of her daughters.

Jodi's daughters reach their hands out to Rosita and say: "Hello!"
But the mascot gives them a "no" gesture before walking past them.
The mum-of-two were fuming and posted the unhappy encounter on Instagram.
She said: "I’m going to keep posting this, because this had me hot.
"We were on our way out of Sesame Place and the kids wanted to stop to see the characters.
"This disgusting person blatantly told our kids no then proceeded to hug the little white girl next to us!
"Then when I went to complain about it, they looking at me like I’m crazy.
"I asked the lady who the character was and I wanted to see a supervisor and she told me she didn't know!
"I will never step foot in Sesame Place ever again! And please feel free to report this. Actually run me my money back, so mad I stopped the video but it got me so mad when he blatantly told them no."
The video went viral that Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland also shared the footage on her Instagram Stories with the captions "OH HELL NAWWW!!” and “This just made me So mad!!”

Sesame Place has since issued an apology and in the statement, it read: "Our brand, our park and our employees stand for inclusivity and equality in all forms.
"That is what Sesame Place is about and we do not tolerate any behaviors in our parks that are contrary to that commitment.
"We also are, and have always been, committed to making sure every family and every child has the best possible experience at our parks and we are incredibly disappointed when that does not happen."
