Shocking brawl on Southwest Airlines flight to LA sees passengers raining punches on each other as plane waits to take off

SHOCKING footage has emerged showing fists flying in a dramatic brawl on board a US plane as it waited to take off last week.

The Southwest Airlines jet was preparing to leave Dallas for Los Angeles when tempers flared.

The clip, shared on Snapchat by another passenger, shows a man in a grey hoodie throwing punches at another man in a row of seats.

He then backs up as the seated man rises to his feet and other passengers try to calm things down.

But the scrap is not yet over as the passenger in grey suddenly pushes one of the peacemakers out of the way and starts aiming blows at his target again.

He appears to land punch after punch on the man before another flyer grabs him from behind and drags him off.

His original target then appears to charge at him as the clip cuts out.

The plane was delayed for around an hour as a result of the fight, with the person who shared the Snapchat footage claiming they missed their connection because of it.

A spokesperson for Southwest Airlines told The Sun Online: “On March 2, Southwest Airlines flight #8 scheduled Dallas Love to Los Angeles was delayed departing due to an altercation between two passengers.
