THIS is the shocking moment youths armed with what look like huge knives attack a lone lad in broad daylight.
Chaos exploded in full view of tram passengers on Thursday as a pack of hooded menaces slashed and stabbed at another knife-wielding man in the street.
Passengers in Droylsden, Manchester, can be heard shouting "f****** hell" and "better not chop him with the blade" amid the carnage.
Footage then cuts to the front of the tram where thugs rain knife blows down on their victim who cowers on the tracks.
They appear to make several contacts with the lad – who is sitting upright – as they mercilessly plunge blades at him.
A number of the group then scarper as one lad stays with the boy to deliver more stabs before picking up a bike and fleeing.
