Silicon Valley actor Thomas Middleditch has been accused of groping a woman in front of her friends and staff at a members-only goth themed Hollywood nightclub.

The comedian, 39, is said to have made ‘lewd’ comments to Hannah Harding and her girlfriend before making the unwanted sexual advances at Cloak & Dagger in October 2019, The LA Times reports.

Harding says she then witnessed Middleditch, who plays Richard Hendricks in HBO’s Silicon Valley, grope another woman on the same night.

He then allegedly wrote to Harding in a Instagram message, saying: ‘Hannah I had no idea my actions were that weird for you.

‘I know you probably want to just put me on blast as a monster…I don’t expect you to want to be my friend or anything…I am so ashamed I made you uncomfortable.’

Harding is one of 10 women – including four employees –  who said the secretive Cloak & Dagger club, which was located at the back of the Pig ‘N Whistle bar and has since shuttered, ignored sexual misconduct.

The co-founders of Cloak and Dagger, Adam Bravin and Michael Patterson, said their goal was to ‘create the safest space possible’ after it opened in 2015.

The pair personally found members with regulars tattooed with the club’s dagger logo and a robed initiation ceremony. The dress code was all black.

Guests were told: ‘If you speak of anything you have seen or heard here, you will lose [your membership]. If you see or hear anyone else speaking of what they saw or heard, let us know. Do you understand?’

Co-founders Bravin and Patterson said in a statement: ‘As far as I am aware, they reported every incident to us, and to my knowledge, we dealt with every single issue brought to our attention.

‘Our goal from day one was to create the safest space possible.’

Harding was 21-years-old at the time of the alleged assault, which the club’s operations manager, Kate Morgan, says she told Bravin and Patterson about.

Morgan said: ‘I felt like they dismissed it. I told Adam that he needed to listen, that this was not OK.’

She added: ‘Michael said he wanted to have a ‘real cult’.’ Patterson said he did recall saying that.

After no action was taken by the club, Harding said: ‘They cared more about famous people at their club than women’s safety.’

Middleditch’s representatives have not commented on the claims; DailyMail.com has reached out for more.

In May last year it was revealed his wife had filed for divorce on May 28 after separating on May 22.

Mollie Gates listed ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for filing and has requested spousal support.  They don’t share any children together.

It came after Thomas revealed in 2019 that becoming swingers had saved their marriage.

‘Only after I got married was I like, “Mollie, I’m sorry, but we have to get nontraditional here”,’ he told Playboy last September.

‘To her credit, instead of saying “F**k you, I’m out,” she was like, “Let’s figure this out.” To be honest, swinging has saved our marriage.’

‘We have different speeds, and we argue over it constantly, but it’s better than feeling unheard and alone and that you have to scurry in the shadows. By the way, it’s now called being “part of the lifestyle.” The term swinging is old.’

Middleditch split from his wife, Mollie Gates, after four-years of marriage. The costume designer filed for divorce citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ last year

Following the release of the article, Thomas said he was regretful, telling The Daily Beast on their podcast that it was ‘poor execution.’

‘To be honest, it’s a thing I wish I could take back. It was poor execution,’ he said.

‘But I’ve learned to keep things a little more close to the chest. It was a painful [learning experience], to be honest.’

Thomas and Mollie became engaged in June 2015. They had a quick turn-around and married on August 22, 2015, in the actor’s British Columbia hometown.

Thomas is best known for his work as Richard Hendricks in the HBO series Silicon Valley, which ran between 2014 and 2019.

The role earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in 2016. He lost out to Jeffrey Tambor for his work in Transparent.
