Sloane Square incident: Passenger stabs himself to death in front of horrified commuters at station | The Sun

A MAN has stabbed himself to death in front of horrified commuters at a London tube station.

British Transport Police rushed to Sloane Square station and said a man had sustained “serious, self-inflicted injuries”.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The force confirmed to The Sun Online the man used a knife to kill himself.

A spokesperson for the BTP said: "Officers were called to Sloane Square Underground station at 10.26am on 28 June following reports that a man had sustained serious, self-inflicted injuries. 

"Paramedics also attended however despite their best efforts the man has been pronounced dead at the scene. 

"The incident is not being treated as suspicious."
