A TAKEAWAY dished out a cheeky response to a customer who left a mysterious message on their receipt.
The Smoking Goat on Broadway in Ashby, Scunthorpe, received an order for a can of coke and some of their steak loaded fries, cooked well done – but there was a bizarre message in the 'comments' box.
Written at the bottom of the order was a note asking the takeaway for help as the customer's partner had him held hostage in the house.
It read: "My missus has locked me in the house plz help."
But the takeaway didn't respond in the way you might expect.
They remarked: "That’s what you get for ordering well done steaks," followed by a number of laughing face emojis.
