Teenagers, 18 and 19, are killed after car hits tree on horror crash ‘on way to Halloween party’

Two teenagers have been killed after a Renault Clio car carrying six people veered out of control, left a road and ploughed into a tree.
A 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old girl both died instantly in the impact which happened soon after 10pm on Friday night.
Some members of the group were in the armed forces and were wearing Halloween costumes and were on their way to a party, sources told The Mirror.
Soldiers from the nearby barracks ‘had to pull the crash victims out of the car’ while surgeons operated on them from the roadside, the sources claim.
Police said that six young people were in the car which crashed off the road in Tidworth, Wiltshire.
A 27-year-old man and a 19-year-old youth were left fighting for their lives in hospital on Saturday after suffering life-threatening injuries.

A spokesman for Wiltshire police, who appealed for any witnesses to the crash to contact them, said: ‘Two people have sadly died following a collision on Perham Down Road, Tidworth yesterday evening.
‘At approximately 10pm we responded to the road traffic collision involving a Renault Clio which had struck a tree after leaving the road. We regret to report that a 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene.
‘Their next of kin have been informed.
‘Two other men who were in the vehicle, aged 27 and 19 years, have both been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, while a 29-year-old man has been taken to hospital with serious but not thought to be life threatening injuries and a 20-year-old man has also gone to hospital with minor injuries.
‘The road was closed for several hours while our investigation continued.

‘If you have any information regarding the collision, including if you saw the vehicle involved earlier in the evening, please call 101.
None of those involved has yet been named. It was believed they had been on an evening out when the tragedy happened.
Post mortem examinations are to be carried out on the teenagers’ bodies to establish the exact causes of their deaths and an inquest will be opened and adjourned next week by the Wiltshire coroner.
The double fatal comes just two weeks after a Volkswagen Polo carrying EIGHT people, crashed off the road and hit a tree in Tongham, Surrey, killing the teenage football playing driver and badly injuring several passengers.
An MOD spokesperson said: ‘We are aware of an incident at Perham Down in Wiltshire yesterday evening, 29 October. Wiltshire Police are investigating and it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time.’
