TRIBUTES have been paid to a "pleasant, pretty and polite" woman who was brutally raped and murdered.
Three men were arrested over the woman's horror death in Bury, Greater Manchester, on Wednesday.
Police were scrambled to a hospital at around 6.15pm after the woman, 36, tragically passed away.
They then swooped on three addresses in Bury following "multiple enquiries".
Three men aged 32, 52, and 61 were arrested on suspicion of rape and murder.
One nearby resident, who didn’t wish to be named, said she knew the victim.
She said: “She was a nice lady and used come round asking if she could borrow a phone charger or the wi-fi.
“She was pretty and polite and always very pleasant.
“It’s such a shame what’s happened – she didn’t deserve to die.”
