Former President Donald Trump was greeted with roaring cheers when he showed up for the UFC 264 showdown in Las Vegas.
Trump arrived through the fighter tunnel for the fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier on Saturday night, prompting the packed crowd to cheer and chant “U-S-A” in the T-Mobile Arena, USA Today reported.
The former president was escorted to a seat near the octagon, where New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was also there to watch the match, the outlet reported.
Poirier beat McGregor in the main event when McGregor broke his ankle and was unable to continue the fight.
McGregor never got up after falling to the canvas following a final-minute blow by Poirier during the first round.
