BRITS are set to bask in 21C sun this weekend – but have been warned to brace for looming thunderstorms.
The Met Office is predicting the coming days will be a mix of sunshine and showers.
On Saturday afternoon parts of the southeast will enjoy 20C and 21C temperatures, while much of the rest of the country will have to settle for the mercury in the late-teens.
The likes of Norwich and surrounding areas are expected to hit 21C around 4pm on Saturday.
But the forecasters say not all Brits will be enjoying the sunny rays – as there's a chance of thunderstorms, too.
The Met's outlook for the weekend reads: "Unsettled with blustery showers or longer spells of rain on Saturday.

"Thunderstorms in places too. Strong winds and showers gradually easing during Sunday and Monday. Generally rather cool."
But, looking forwards it says: "Sunshine with scattered showers is expected for the start of next week, although showers likely lighter than on previous days and possibly with some more persistent rain initially across northeast Scotland.
"Winds also lighter than previous days for most, but still breezier over northern Scotland at first with temperatures remaining a little below average.
"Northwesterly winds most likely through to the end of next week, with low pressure likely sitting to the north of the UK, although winds may become more westerly by the end of the period.

"This will continue to bring sunshine and showers, with perhaps longer spells of rains at times.
"Also, a possibility of heavier showers and possibly thunderstorms across the south. Temperatures likely to remain a little below average for the time of the year."
It comes after the forecasters revealed the date when warmer, drier weather is expected to return to the UK.
Met Office spokesman Grahame Madge said: “The current weather pattern is looking to be quite dominant for a week to ten days or so.
“Beyond that, a typical pattern for the latter part of summer would be another high-pressure system.”
But it also said rainy conditions could drag through the coming weeks.
The Met Office said: “Towards the end of the month, there are tentative signs of slightly drier conditions taking hold, with fewer in the way of showers and longer, drier spells, and consequently it should feel a little warmer too.”
