Ukraine has launched a desperate appeal for a no-fly zone, using horrifying images of Russia's invasion of the country set to a famous Winston Churchill speech.
The powerful video, lasting one minute and ten seconds, features a clock ticking and compares Putin to Hitler.
Throughout the video viewers can see the words "Ukraine 2022", anchoring the video in the present day and reminding viewers that the harrowing events are still taking place.
The clip opens with a clock ticking and World War Two leader Churchill saying: "I have to make the declaration, but can you doubt what our policy will be?
"We have but one aim and one single irrevocable purpose. We are resolved to destroy Hitler," with the video drawing comparisons between the two leaders.
The imagery showcases images of Putin’s missiles smashing into civilian communities, elderly women desperately seeking help, and disturbing footage of refugees fleeing Russian troops.
The Churchill quote continues: "And every vestige of the Nazi regime. From this nothing will turn us. Nothing. We will never parler, we will never negotiate with Hitler or any of his gang.
"We shall fight him by land , we shall fight him by sea, we shall fight him in the air until with god’s help we have rid the earth of his shadow and liberated its people from his yoke.
"Any man or state who fights against Nazidom will have our aid…. Any man or state who marches with Hitler is our foe."
The video ends emphatically: "History repeats itself. Will we repeat the greatness of our ancestors – close the sky over Ukraine!"
The video depicts horror scenes, but Ukraine has announced a small victory as troops took back the city of Chuhuiv, killing two more top Russian commanders.
The General Staff claimed the city had been "liberated" after Russian forces invaded the city.
Chuhuiv is located just 23 miles southeast of Kharkiv, Ukraine ’s second-biggest city, which came under siege not long after the capital city of Kyiv was attacked.
The Ukrainian army posted: "The occupiers suffered heavy losses in personnel and equipment."
The army also confirmed that members of the Russian Armed Forces, Commander of the 61st Separate Marine Brigade Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Safronov, and Deputy Commander of the 11th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade Lieutenant Colonel Denis Glebov, were both killed in the attack.
