A new, "uncureable" STI which causes "genital pain, bleeding and swelling" and can even be the kicker for infertility and miscarriage is worrying experts.
The potential "superbug" – called Mycoplasma genitalium – has also proven to be resistant to antibiotics so far.
Scientists say that one worrying element of the disease is that there is little to know information about it due to lack of testing.
And the sexually transmitted infection (STI) doesn't require penetration, as even sexual "touching" could spread the condition.

Stafford called for more research and testing into the STI this week during the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s conference for the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases.
The organization warned of an “out of control” rise in STD cases in the US.

"It is thought up to one in 50 adults in England currently carry MG," the NHS stated.
Adding to the list of possible symptoms, in men, GM can lead to burning or itching in the urethra (the tube that carries urine out of the body), discomfort or discharge from your bum – if you have had anal sex and pain in the testicles.
In women, GM can lead to discomfort or discharge from the bum (if you have had anal sex).
"MG is also thought to be a potential cause of early labour and miscarriage in pregnant women," the NHS added.
MG has been shown to be a cause of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), which is a "major cause" of reduced fertility.
