Urgent police search for schoolgirl, 13, last seen on Saturday morning

POLICE are urgently searching for a 13-year-old girl who vanished two days ago.

Hayleigh Kent was last seen in Perth city centre at around 10.15am on Saturday.

The schoolgirl "regularly visits” Dundee, Fife, and Edinburgh, police confirmed.

Hayleigh may have been carrying three bags when she disappeared and was wearing a grey hooded top, navy jacket, black leggings and white Nike trainers.

She has been described as white, 5ft 7ins with long, brown hair.

Tayside Police said in a statement: “Extensive enquiries are underway, however, attempts to locate her have so far proved unsuccessful.

“Officers are seeking to view any relevant CCTV footage which may provide additional information on where Hayleigh may have gone.

“She regularly visits Dundee, Fife and Edinburgh and enquiries are ongoing in those locations.

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 2280 of 26 February, 2022.
