Weather in Denver today: Partly sunny, cool Tuesday expected

Denver’s weather will improve Tuesday after a small snowstorm dropped about an inch of snow Monday night.

Tuesday is expected to be partly sunny with a high of 33 degrees, and light wind in the morning will give way to a calm afternoon.

Tuesday night’s low temperature is 16 degrees, with some light winds of about six mph possible.

The mild weather beginning Tuesday is expected to continue the rest of the week, as sunny days are in the forecast through Saturday.

Temperatures will warm to the mid-40s by Thursday and could reach 48 degrees by Sunday.

Some snow will continue across the far northeast plains Tuesday morning as the snowstorm leaves the state. Light snow is expected in some areas of the mountains Tuesday, then again Thursday and Friday with two to six inches possible.
