AT least 11 people have been killed and more than 50 were left injured after a series of shootings rocked the US over the weekend.
Seandell Holliday, 16, was among five people killed in Chicago while a six-year-old boy was shot in the head in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Sunday.
Holliday was targeted following an alleged dispute near the famous “Bean” sculpture on Saturday, Fox32 reported.
The teen was taken to the hospital in a critical condition but was pronounced dead by medics.
CHICAGO VIOLENCE
Cops took two suspects into custody and a 17-year-old boy has been charged with second-degree murder.
Officers have not released any information about the other person.

The 17-year-old is set to appear in juvenile court on Monday, according to WMAQ-TV.
He’s also been charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and aggravated battery with a laser-sighted scope on a firearm.
Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot lamented Holliday’s death.
She said on Saturday: “Tonight, a mother is grief-stricken, mourning the loss of her child and searching for answers.

Lightfoot revealed on Sunday that under 18s wouldn't be allowed in the Millennium Park after 6pm on weekends.
Hours before Holliday was shot dead, a 34-year-old man was struck several times by gunfire.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
And, another teen, 19, was at his home in Washington Park when he was shot in the head, ABC7 reported.
He was pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Cops haven’t arrested any suspects as the investigation continues and information about the victim hasn’t been revealed.
Just before midnight, two men, both 40, were involved in a car crash.
One man was shot in the chest and stomach and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The other victim was shot in the side of his body and was taken to hospital in a fair condition.
A 17-year-old boy was gunned down in West Englewood on Friday night after being hit in the chest and armpit.
DOZENS OF INJURIES
More than 25 people were injured as gun violence rocked the Windy City.
The victims included two boys, 16 and 13, who were shot on Sunday morning.
Officials said the 16-year-old was taken to hospital with a wound to his leg and is in a serious condition.
The 13-year-old was targeted in a separate incident just after 1:45am local time on Sunday morning.
A man, believed to be between the ages of 18-20, was shot in the neck and chest and hospitalized in a critical condition after being shot on Saturday night.
Cops took two youngsters into custody where they were quizzed.
They have not been identified as the probe continues.
And, a 16-year-old girl was shot in the head on Friday night.
She was taken to Mount Sinai hospital in a critical condition and a person of interest is currently being quizzed.
HOUSTON FLEA MARKET SHOOTING
Two people have died while three others were injured as gunshots erupted at a flea market in Houston on Sunday.
The shooting at the open-air market arose from an “altercation” that involved at least two guns and all five of the people, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
Cops believe one of the people who was taken to hospital was among those who opened fire.
Two additional suspected shooters were detained at the scene, according to police.
Officials said “multiple” shots were fired and officers recovered two pistols from the scene
WINSTON-SALEM, NORTH CAROLINA
Seven people were shot in three different locations as several shootings were reported in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on Sunday night.
The victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries but police believe the gun violence was connected.
The motive behind the shootings remains unknown but cops believe the incidents were not random, according to WSOC.
CALIFORNIA
One person was killed and four people were injured following a shooting that took place at the Geneva Presbyterian Church in Orange County, California on Sunday.
Nearly 40 people were inside the place of worship when the gunman opened fire.
Many of the attendees inside the church were believed to be of Taiwanese descent.
Investigators are looking into if the incident was a hate crime but nothing has been confirmed as of yet, said Carrie Braun, a spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
A statement from church leaders said the shooting occurred during a lunch reception meant to honor a former pastor of the congregation.
Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives rushed to the scene as did the FBI and local police.
According to the sheriff’s department, church attendees reportedly hogtied the suspect until authorities arrived.
The suspect is believed to be a man in his 60s and investigators don’t believe he’s from the area.
A motive for the shooting hasn’t been established as investigations continue.
MILWAUKEE VIOLENCE
Violence erupted in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this weekend as at least three people were killed.
One of the shootings took place near a school in the city,Fox 6 reported.
A 21-year-old man was killed and a teen boy, 17, was fatally injured in what police believe was robbery-related.
Cops said the youngster was in possession of a firearm.
And, a 28-year-old man also died.
An unnamed witness told Fox6: “The fight started in the bar and then the man came out of a yard two houses away from the bar with a ski mask on, went up to the car and shot out the driver’s window and the windshield.”
The witness said that a woman nearby was “sobbing” and inconsolable.
The violence came just days after dozens of injuries were reported following the Milwaukee Bucks game on May 13.
Two shootings happened in downtown Milwaukee near the Deer District just hours apart – where fans gathered to watch the Bucks play the Celtics in game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
An unidentified 29-year-old man was taken into custody following the first gunfire that sent fans fleeing from the game.
Three people were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Bill Reinemann, a parking attendant at a lot adjacent to the Deer District told WTMJ-TV that he heard gunshots but didn't see anyone get shot or the shooter.
“It sounded like six to eight gunshots,” he told WTMJ-TV “It was close.”
Ten people were taken into custody and police recovered 9 guns, WTMJ-TV reported.
There was no immediate confirmation on whether the two shootings were related or included fans watching the game.
However, authorities are continuing to look for more suspects, according to Fox 6.
PITTSBURGH
A six-year-old boy was shot in the head during an incident on Sunday that cops believe was accidental.
The youngster was taken to hospital and is in a critical condition, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
He hasn’t been named and cops are questioning witnesses as they investigate the incident.
