THE body of Leonne Weeks was discovered on a Yorkshire footpath in what police called "suspicious" circumstances.

Sixteen-year-old Leonne was discovered down a footpath in the South Yorkshire town of Rotherham.
Police are yet to confirm her friends' claims that she had gone to meet a man she had met on an internet dating site.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Social media users had earlier reported Leonne as missing and said her mum Paula Appley was “going out of her mind to try and find her.”
A number of posts were made asking if anyone had seen Leonne and if they had, to contact her mum.
What have police said?
Cops said Leonne had been reported missing 20 minutes before her body was found.
Police are treating the death as suspicious due to "concerns around the state of the body and the injuries."
The discovery of tragic Leonne's body sparked an outpouring of grief from devastated friends.
On social media one wrote: "Can't even get my head over this! Such a quiet nice lass! Wouldn't harm anybody and gets taken away at 16 years old with a while Life ahead of her r.i.p Leonne Weeks darling [sic]”.
Another user said: “Thinking of you all at this sad time Paula Appley sweet dreams to your princess xx.”
One card read: "To Leonne and family. Thinking about you, miss you so much. Sleep tight, fly high angel."
