AS IDENTITIES of alleged Capitol rioters come to light, many are using social media to expose those that have yet to be named by the FBI.
Authorities have resorted to using sites like Twitter and Instagram to piece together the identities of suspects who allegedly took part in the deadly riot that killed five people.
Who is 'Bullhorn Lady'?
The identity of Bullhorn Lady is still unknown.
Video surface and images have been going viral on social media of a woman in a pink hat with a bullhorn allegedly instructing the rioters on where to go once they breach the building.
Twitter user Chris Morris uploaded the video that went viral and fetched nearly 5 million views.
It has since been deleted and the account has been suspended.
The video was filmed inside one of the rooms of the Capitol, with one man heard saying: "What's the floor plan?"
What did she do during the Capitol riots?
It is believed that a woman wearing a pink hat and holding a bullhorn instructed the rioters to other parts of the US Capitol during the riot.
The unidentified woman allegedly said in the video: “Hey guys, I've been in the other room. In the other room on the other side of this door right here where you are standing, there is a glass that somebody, if it's broken, you can drop down into a room underneath it.
Adding: "There's also two doors in the other room. One in the rear, and one to the right as you go in. So people should probably coordinate together if you're going to take this building. We're in, we've got another window to break to make getting in and out easy."
The viral video sent social media users on a manhunt as they tried to identify the woman in question, which led to the hashtag #BullhornLady.
Many were also led to believe that the insurrection was “an inside job” due to the lady’s extensive knowledge of the Capitol floor plan.
One user said: “#BullhornLady what did she use as a battering ram, where did they get it? Did they bring it with them or was it already there? If she had the plans, brought a bullhorn, it seems like something that she would have planned to have on hand.
Another added: “#BullhornLady – The authorities are closing in on you. It's only a matter of time now. Turn yourself in.#IdentifyTheTerrorists #PinkHatLady.”
How did she know the layout of the Capitol building?
It is unclear how the woman knew the layout of the building.
There are rumors surfacing on Twitter that Bullhorn Lady is allegedly US Representative Lauren Boebert’s mother, but she has since debunked them to ProPublica, saying: “This is categorically false. During the riot, my mother was barricaded inside of my office alongside my staff until the all clear was given by Capitol Police.”
Twitter users are helping the FBI identify Bullhorn Lady and are asking people to keep searching all social media platforms.
Has she been arrested?
She has not been identified or arrested yet.
