CRESSIDA DICK was the first openly gay commissioner of the Metropolitan Police but has now resigned.
She has been in a relationship with Helen for a number of years.
Who is Cressida Dick's partner Helen?
Helen keeps herself very much out of the limelight and it appears very little has been written about her.
They have been together about eight years and do not have any children together.
Cressida Dick started her career with the Met Police on the beat in Soho, London, in the 1980s.
She became the Met Commissioner in 2017 but she resigned five years later after criticisms rocked her career.
What is Helen's role with the Metropolitan Police?
Helen was a serving Met office but retired from the police force in 2017.
It’s thought she served as a response team inspector at a police station in a busy south London borough.

Dick told the Daily Mail in 2018: "She was a duty inspector in a busy London borough. It was a big, demanding job — she loved it and I am biased, of course, but she was really good at it."
In March 2021, Dick came under intense pressure to quit her role over the policing of the Sarah Everard vigil in Clapham Common.
Police were photographed dragging women away and kneeling on one protester’s back after they tried to disperse crowds.
The Met Police said four people were arrested for public order and coronavirus regulation breaches.
Dick said: “What happened to Sarah appals me. As you know, I’m the first woman commissioner of the Met, perhaps it appals me, in a way, even more because of that.
“What has happened makes me more determined, not less, to lead my organisation.”
What has Cressida Dick said about her partner?
Dick has dismissed interest in her sexuality in the past but came out formally in 2017.
She told BBC’s Desert Island Discs in February 2019: “Sometimes people say to me that they think it’s important, but to be honest, for me, I think it’s one of the least interesting things about me.”
She added: “I happen to love Helen – she’s my partner. On we go.”
Dick told the Mail that there were "advantages and disadvantages" of having a partner in the same profession.
She said: "The downside is that if you're not careful, you talk about it at home, which isn't healthy.
"But the advantage is, I'm lucky, well supported, and she understands if No10 is on the phone, I have to take the call."
Calls from No10 will likely no longer be an issue for the pair moving forward.
