POLICE have arrested three men following the death of a woman who was badly burnt at a home in Bury.
The 31-year-old was found with severe burns at an address on East Street in Bury by emergency services just after 7:30pm on Friday July 23.
She was rushed to hospital but despite emergency staff's best efforts, she died a short time later.
Now three men aged 34, 24 and 26 have been arrested in connection with the incident, and remain in custody for questioning.
Greater Manchester Police have said that they are not looking for anyone else in connection with it.
Cops, alongside fire investigators are now working to establish the circumstances around what happened.
Detective Chief Inspector Daniel Clegg from the Major Incidents Team, said: "This is a truly devastating incident, in which a woman has tragically lost her life.
"I would like to reassure the public that we believe this is an isolated incident, and there will be an increased emergency services presence in the area as we work to establish the full circumstances surrounding this death.
