A mum went weeks without realising she had a winning £28 million lottery ticket tucked away in her purse.
The unnamed player from Lower Franconia in Germany eventually cashed in her life-changing jackpot of but not before trying her luck again.
Lotto Bayern confirmed the 45-year-old customer is its second-biggest winner ever since it launched 75 years ago.
In an interview with the German lottery, the winner said even now she is left "dizzy" when remembering how she kept the multimillion-euro ticket lying around her purse.
While keeping her identity secret from the press, she told Lotto Bayern: "I still get dizzy at the thought that I carelessly carried almost €33 million around in my purse for several weeks."
It was not until she played the lottery again that she learnt of her luck, landing the June 9 windfall, ITVNews reports.
The mother-of-one explained her winning numbers on the €1.20 (£1) ticket were randomly selected and her cool £28million was "more than enough for my husband, my daughter and me".
With the dramatic boost to her bank account, the woman told how it will help her family lead a more environmentally conscious lifestyle.

She explained: "By this, I mean healthy eating, more time for exercise in the fresh air, and responsible treatment of our environment.
"We are also very much looking forward to soon being able to build our own energy-saving and resource-saving house with a natural garden."
The winner added that she wishes other lottery players "as much luck as [she] had".
One lucky lottery winner has just hours to claim their new £1million fortune or they will lose it forever.
Everyone who bought a ticket have been urged to check their numbers after one lucky Brit has bagged the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker top prize.
The potential millionaire won the huge jackpot in January but has still not come forward to collect their cash.
