Woman in her 30s dies after being hit by motorcyclist while crossing road – as man arrested | The Sun

A WOMAN has died after being hit by a motorcyclist as she crossed the road in Essex.

Police rushed to the scene on Epping New Road, Loughton, shortly after 4.15pm on Sunday April 16.

The woman, in her 30s, sadly died at the scene between the Robin Hood and Wake Arms roundabouts.

A 59-year-old man, from nearby Waltham Abbey, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He has been released under investigation.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "If you have any information, dash cam or other footage in relation to this collision, then please get in contact with us."
