Woman rushed to hospital after 'falling from a van' onto road in Greater Manchester | The Sun

A WOMAN has been rushed to hospital after falling from a van onto a road.

Emergency services rushed to the scene in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester at around 10pm last night.

A photo from the scene showed ambulances and police cars crowded around the street.

Cops confirmed that they understand the woman "fell from a van".

Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Residents reported that a stretch of the road was closed in both directions.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said that enquiries into the circumstances around the fall are ongoing.
