A WOMAN was stabbed and man attacked with a knuckle duster at a popular seaside resort.
Police were scrambled to a bus shelter in Bournemouth, Dorset, at after the horror unfolded.
The man and woman, aged in their 30s, had been sitting on a bench when they were approached by a group of people.
Police confirmed the woman was rushed to hospital where she was treated for stab wounds.
The man suffered wounds to his face after being attacked with a knuckle duster.
Officers are now appealing for information following the assault on April 30 at around 7pm.

Police Constable Jack Hansford, of Weymouth police, said: “Our investigation is continuing, and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed what happened and has not already spoken to police, to please come forward.
“I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity and may have captured anything of relevance on either dashcam, CCTV or mobile phone footage.”
