A woman was filmed throwing a punch and attempting to headbutt a schoolboy after his friend allegedly threw a snowball at her car.

The 15-year-old boy from Springhead, Oldham, was wearing a Saddleworth School blazer in the attack outside the school’s gates at 3.30pm on January 7, a day that had heavy snowfall.

Two of the boy’s mates filmed the woman trying to punch him and bash her head into him.

The boy’s friend had allegedly thrown a snowball at the woman’s car while it was moving

The boy’s father told the Manchester Evening News he was phoned by the school after the incident and told what had happened.  

He said the boys were crossing the road after walking down the school’s driveway when one of them threw a snowball at a moving car.

The driver, a blonde woman in blue jeans and a dark top, got out of the passenger side and asked the man’s son who threw the snowball. 

Footage shows the woman grappling with the child and throwing punches.

The pair were locked in a battle outside the gates of Saddleworth School in Springhead, Greater Manchester

The boy’s father said he and his partner would tell their son off if he had done something wrong but his friend throwing a snowball at a car was ‘no reason’ for the woman ‘to start throwing punches at him’.
