Woman’s ‘awful’ £10 tattoo in tribute to nan is costing hundreds to remove

A TikTok star is fuming after she found out she would have to pay hundreds of pounds to get an 'awful' £10 tattoo removed.

Tiffany told fans she had decided to get a sweet one-word tattoo in tribute to her late grandmother after she sadly passed away several years ago.

In a post she showed fans a mock-up that simply reads "Nanny" in respectful Victorian-style cursive writing, with small flourishes on either side.

But the next slide showed the laughable botched design the tattoo artist actually gave her, which looked like it had been penned by a child.

The lines of the drawing appears to be written in shaky fashion, with each letter varying considerably in size and seeming to be squashed in towards the end of the word.

In comparison to the original, it looks more like it reads 'Nonny'.

She captioned the post by saying: "£10 tattoo that's costing me hundreds to get removed."

Tiffany revealed in the comments that she has now begun a laser removal process after she had stuck with the tattoo for nine years.

But she also dropped hints it might not be her only one to get rid of, adding in the caption: "Did I learn after that or did I go get another cheap awful tattoo?"

Meanwhile, a woman said she was left devastated and crying for a whole day after a tattoo artist botched her Medusa ink.

In a video Aleyna Renae shows the inspiration photos for her dream tattoo which shows the mythological woman and her hair of snakes.

Unfortunately, Aleyna's finished tattoo appeared to have all kinds of mistakes like wonky eyes on Medusa and the snake, as well as odd shading around the nose.

In the caption, she added: "And the tattoo artist has been blowing up my phone and gaslighting me."

The video has been watched 95,000 times since Aleyna uploaded it on her @aleynarenae TikTok on March 10.
