TWO baby bunnies ballooned into 14lb monsters after they turned out to be Continental Giants.
When Courts Greene, 28, bought sisters Maggie and Lapine they were just 8lb each.
But the ten-month-olds could hit 24lbs by the time they reach 18 months.
They have already chewed through six iPhone cables, three extension cords and a diffuser at their home.
Courts bought the bunnies last August with her flatmate Gemma Worth, 32, in Taunton, Somerset.
The occupational therapist said: “It’s scary to think they will double in size.
“Their teeth never stop growing. Thank God they haven’t found the wifi cable.”
The flatmates spend £35 monthly on their hay, pellets and spinach and the rabbits freely run round the flat — with Lapine often “flying” through their kids’ playhouse window.
Courts said: “They’re best friends.
“They lie across each other like a massive hot cross bun.”
Remarkably, she added: “I’m excited to watch them grow bigger.”
