Chris Hemsworth has made a habit of showing off his huge biceps. And with good reason; he’s been swole for a decade while playing Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but he stepped up his training over the last year to bulk up to play Hulk Hogan in an upcoming biopic—and has been sharing glimpses of his intense workouts while shooting superhero sequel Thor: Love and Thunder in Australia.
Hemsworth’s huge biceps in particular have captured the public’s attention, and he just showed them off again. Back in January, the actor announced that filming was officially commencing on the movie by posting a thirst trap to Instagram, and now, to commemorate the end of the shoot, he has shared another glimpse of his godlike arms in an image captured on set and credited to photographer Jasin Boland.
“That’s a wrap on Thor Love and Thunder,” Hemsworth wrote in the caption of the pic, humbly adding: “It’s also national don’t flex day so I thought this super relaxed photo was appropriate.” Director Taika Waititi is also in the shot, looking pretty lean in comparison—and from the look on his face, he is aware that this is far from the first time Hemsworth has taken the opportunity to show off Love and Thunder.
“The film is gonna be batshit crazy off the wall funny and might also pull a heart string or two,” he continued. “Lots of love, lots of thunder! Thank you to all the cast and crew who made this another incredible Marvel journey. Buckle in, get ready and see ya in cinemas!!”

Many fans can’t wait for the “batshit” shenanigans of Love and Thunder; after a self-serious start to the franchise, director Taika Waititi stepping in to helm Ragnarok seemed to breathe new life into the character of Thor, finding ways to inject humor and absurdity into what was still a very heavy story.
With the inclusion of characters from the Guardians of the Galaxy corner of the MCU in this next film, it looks like the Thor movies will very much continue in this fun vein—complete with Waititi reprising his role as Thor’s hilarious sometime sidekick Korg.
