Celebrity beauty brands was one of the biggest trends to come out of 2020, and it looks more stars are going to join the beauty chat throughout 2021. Next up is Sofia Vergara.
The Modern Family star has partnered with Chris Salgardo, former president of Kiehl's, business partner Luis Balaguer, and Spain's pharmaceutical lab Cantabria Labs on the venture.
The name of Vergara's brand and the products she plans to launch are yet to be revealed, but in a statement provided to WWD, Juan Matji, president of Cantabria Labs says it will be "offering the consumer a new generation of smart products and solutions for skincare, beauty, and health that we expect to be a success in the United States."
Vergara told the publication why she's chosen to work with Salgardo. "Throughout his career, Chris has proven himself to be one of the beauty industry's most influential voices and leaders," the star said. "His creativity, authenticity and track record for success make him an invaluable partner, and I am so excited to work with him and Cantabria Labs in this new endeavor."

Aside from the new line, the star already has ties to the beauty industry as being the face or name of a brand. In addition to four fragrances, Vergara is the face of Head & Shoulders and previously appeared in CoverGirl commercials.
