Adele gushes over son and ex Simon Konecki saying they are ‘her soulmates’

Adele has revealed her ex-husband Simon Konecki is still her soulmate, despite their divorce.

The mega star, 33, is set to appear on The Graham Norton Show on Friday 11 February, where she talks about her ex and their son, Angelo.

Adele won big at the Brits this week and in her speech for her third award, for Best Album, the singer emotionally dedicated it to her son and ex-husband.

Chatting to Graham, the Easy on Me hitmaker explained how she succeeds in keeping her family's privacy, despite being one of the biggest stars in the world.

She said: "I don't share too much of him, but they are my little soulmates – Angelo and Simon.

"Our family is separated but we're nailing it and doing a really, really good job."

While chatting to the Irishman, Adele also spoke about her new relationship, wearing a huge diamond ring placed on her engagement finger, which sparked more rumours she will be getting married soon.

The star is in a relationship with 39 year old American sports agent Rich Paul.

But she remained coy when Graham asked if the huge rock on her finger meant she is engaged, saying: "If I was would I ever tell anyone if I was or wasn't?"

The star, who won Best Song, Best Artist and Best Album at the Brits this week went on to discuss her approach to dealing with fame after her time in the pop wilderness.

"I’m trying not to be two completely different versions of myself. It is exhausting switching on and off", she told Graham.

The singer was set to perform in Vegas as part of a lucrative residency but announced she had to pull out of the tour in an emotional video just a day before the first show.

"I tried my hardest and really thought I would be able to pull something together in time," Adele explained to the Irish host.

"I regret that I kept going until that late in the day. It would have been a really half-a**ed show and I can't do that.

"We are now working our a**es off, but I don't want to announce a new set of dates until I know everything will definitely be ready. The sooner I can announce the better, but I just can't in case we are not ready in time", she excitedly shared.

The Graham Norton Show, Friday 11th February BBC One 10.35pm and available on BBC iPlayer.
