Alex Reid and fiancée Nikki Manashe have revealed their newborn daughter was rushed to hospital over the weekend.

The 46 year old and his 36 year old fiancée welcomed their daughter, Anastasia Pixie Reid, last month after their IVF journey.

But the first time mum has now revealed Anastasia endured a hospital dash in an ambulance in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Sharing a photo of their bundle of joy in the emergency services vehicle, Nikki wrote to her 27,900 Instagram followers, she wrote: "Last night at 1am we ended up in an ambulance."

She continued: "Luckily we were seen straight away as she is so tiny. Baby was vomiting so much stomach bile I panicked.

"This is to all mummy's it's ok to be worried and panic if something doesn't feel right.

"Doctor said I did the right thing, never ignore a poorly baby, even if it seems like your being over the top.

"We are safe at home. My everything. I now understand unconditional love."

It is not the first health bump the family have hit since welcoming their newborn, with Nikki being rushed back to hospital days after giving birth.

Alex took to Instagram to reveal the news that his fiancée was waiting to find out if she needed to undergo surgery for internal bleeding after the birth.

But thankfully, he was able to later reveal the good news that Nikki's bleeding had reduced and she managed to avoid the op.

Posting to his 53,000 Instagram followers, Katie Price's ex-husband wrote: "I have had so many messages of kindness I thought I would reply here.

"I have both my girls back home from hospital. @ivf_mama_nikki thankfully didn't need surgery, the heavy bleeding is slowing down.

"I've learnt a lot that having a c section comes with risks if you don't rest properly, (you women are amazing what you go through).

"Nikki was doing to much around the home and we have all kept telling her off but she insists on being super mum and doing everything.

"I've officially taken over all house duties and she's on strict bed rest and is on antibiotics. Thanking everyone for your kind messages."
