Amanda Holden has made a mum-of-five a millionaire live on Heart radio with a seriously life-changing competition.

The blonde beauty, who previously posed completely nude with just banknotes covering her modesty, announced Shelley Humphries as Heart's big-prize winner.

The big-money game was launched in 2020 and Shelly is only the second person to win it.

This year's competition began in March and allowed contestants to choose to win a prize on the day or put themselves forward to win £1 million in the final.

In the live final, 38 viewers were in the running to win the life-changing sum of money but only one was successful.

Amanda excitedly revealed that burger van owner Shelley was the winner and toasted her with a glass of Champagne.

The mum-of-two dressed up for the occasion with a stunning sequinned red dress and looked her usual glam self.

She expressed: "We are so thrilled for our wonderful winner Shelley. It truly has been the most incredible and emotional morning on Heart breakfasty, and it was our great privilege to crown Shelley as our very worthy winner."

Co-host Jamie Theakston added: "This morning was very special on Heart breakfast as we crowned the winner of Heart's Make Me A Millionare.

"It was a great honour to share this life-changing moment with Shelley.

"Make Me A Millionaire is the biggest competition in UK radio and the suspense and drama that we've witnessed over the past 13 weeks has captivated listeners."

"We'd like to thank everyone who took part and we send huge congratulations to Shelley," he concluded.

This comes after Amanda was slammed for a distatesful joke during the Eurovision song contest.

The Britain's Got Talent judge, who showed off her toned physique in figure-hugging activewear previously, was asked to present the UK’s points, however many viewers were more than unimpressed by her unflattering opening speech.

She said: "Bon soir. Goedenaond. That is good evening in French and Dutch although I’ve got absolutely no idea which is which."

Viewers of the show were quick to slate the television personality for her poor choice of words via Twitter, including actor Tristam Gemmil.

One Twitter user said: "On behalf of the whole of the UK, I apologise to #Eurovision for the embarrassment that is Amanda Holden making it all about her plus her stereotypical ‘I don’t speak foreign'."
