Ben Stiller is one proud dad with daughter Ella, 20, as Emmys date

Actor Ben Stiller was one proud dad on Monday night as he took his 20 year old daughter Ella Olivia Stiller with him to the 2022 Emmy Awards as his date.

The successful actor and director, 56, shares his daughter with his wife Christine Taylor, and she's the spitting image of her famous mother, with blonde hair and a choppy fringe.

Ben looked dapper for the occasion in a black tuxedo complete with a white shirt and black bowtie, whilst his daughter rocked a strappy maxi dress with a daring thigh-high split.

She opted for black nail polish, smoky eye-makeup and dark-hued lipstick to complete the look as she posed alongside her famous father, who's starred in movies such as Zoolander, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story and There's Something About Mary.

Ella's mother and father Ben and Christine are both actors who met on the set of a pilot for a TV show titled Heat Vision and Jack, that was never picked up, in 1999.

They wed in 2020 and welcomed Ella in 2002 before adding son Quinn, now 17, to their brood in 2005.

Ben and Christine split in 2017, however, cohabiting together during the lockdown in 2020 led to a reconciliation in 2022 and the pair were recently spotted looking cosy at the US Open.

“We were separated and got back together and we’re happy about that,” Ben told Esquire in February.

“It’s been really wonderful for all of us,” he added, describing their reunion as “unexpected and one of the things that came out of the pandemic.”

Despite Ben being one of the most successful comedic actors in Hollywood over the last two decades, it seems Ella hasn't always let him off when it comes to his busy filming schedules meaning he wasn't always home.

The star told Esquire: “She’s pretty articulate about it, and sometimes it’s stuff that I don’t want to hear. It’s hard to hear.

"Because it’s me not being there in the ways that I saw my parents not being there. And I had always thought, Well I won’t do that.”

Ben is the son of comedians and actors Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara who have both now passed away.

He's welcomed his children into the world of acting with both kids voicing characters in the animated film Megamind, and Quinn voiced the character of baby Alex in Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, whilst his father voiced the current version of Alex the Lion.

All three also starred in the film Night at The Museum: Secret of The Tomb back in 2014.
