Beyonce Reflects on ‘Lemonade,’ Five Years After Its Release

Beyonce is celebrating the fifth anniversary of her album Lemonade and reflecting on the amazing body of work that she created.

The album was released on April 23, 2016 and featured such hit songs as “Formation,” “Sorry,” “Hold Up,” “Freedom,” and “All Night.” It was nominated for nine Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year.

The Lemonade album was accompanied by a 65-minute film of the same title that aired on HBO.

“I’m grateful that this body of work has resonated so deeply with so many people. I’m so thankful for all the beautiful souls involved in making one of my favorite pieces of art. As I celebrate five years of LEMONADE, I encourage everyone to continue healing, loving, forgiving and uplifting. I hope you find joy today,” Beyonce wrote on Instagram.

Just last week, a celeb talking about her “healing” moment with Beyonce that ended their rumored feud.
