Bridgerton actor Luke Newton has allegedly split from his long-term girlfriend Jade Davies.
The Netflix star, 30, who portrays Colin Bridgerton in the hit series, is said to now be single after allegedly calling time on his romance with West End star Jade, 29, who he's been dating since 2019.
A source has revealed the Jade and Luke "drifted apart" due to their busy schedules and reports have also claimed they spent Christmas apart.
Speaking to The Sun, the insider said: "Luke and Jade drifted apart as they could not find time in their busy schedules to invest in their relationship."
OK! has contacted representatives for Luke for comment.
The actor has now removed all trace of Jade from his Instagram account, while she has switched her own account to private.
The Bridgerton actor is said to already be looking for love again as reports have claimed he's signed up for celebrity dating app Raya following the end of his relationship.
Jade, who is the older sister of Love Island winner Amber Davies, is a successful West End performer and has starred in productions of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Phantom Of The Opera.
She began dating Luke in 2019 and the couple's romance appeared to be going from strength to strength, with them regularly sharing gushing posts about one another on Instagram.
After Bridgerton season two aired, Jade penned an emotional tribute to her then-boyfriend, revealing how proud she was of him.
At the time, the actress wrote: "Bit of a soppy one but from doing the self tape together, to the day Luke called me whilst I was in Estonia early 2019 to tell me he got the part!! ( I cried obvs ) to the release of season 1 and now to this day right here!
'What an incredible journey lukey. It makes me so emotional! You work so so hard and it's all paying off! I love nothing more than spending my evenings going over and over your lines with you ready for filming days!
"Those 3am wake up calls are all worth it and I can't wait to be right by your side to do it all over again! Proud isn't even the word to describe it!"
The news comes as filming for season three of Bridgerton has gotten underway, with the new series set to focus on Luke's character Colin and Penelope Featherington, portrayed by Nicola Coughlan.
It was revealed back in 2021 that there would be a third and fourth series of Bridgerton following the success of the first two seasons. The show is based on the series of romantic novels by American author Julia Quinn.
