Brits 2021: All the stars getting ready from Yungblud to Griff and Maya Jama

The Brit Awards 2021 may have been delayed from February to May, but the day has finally come around and the stars have been preparing for one of the biggest nights in the music calendar.

Ahead of the show, which will be attended by an audience of 4000 as part of government-led research into the possibility of large-scale events being brought back following the coronavirus pandemic, the stars shared snaps and videos of them getting ready. 

Leading the pack was Yungblud, who teased that he would be walking the red carpet in some very impressive stiletto heels. 

The singer, who is known for rocking a little black dress as part of his high-energy performances on tour, added: ‘See you f**kin later @brits’. 

Maya Jama, who is hosting the backstage coverage for the show, teased a look at one of her outfits the night before, adding: ‘T’was the night before @brits ‘mas lol (sounded good in my head) but I can not wait for tomoroooo .. 

‘My first ever time doing the backstage TV show for @itv2(at 7pm) & the return of my favourite award show everrrrr! Here’s a peak at one of the looks.’ (sic)

She also shared photos of her with a black rubber face mask on, adding: ‘No sleep no problem’, throwing on a pair of sunglasses and surgical mask for a trip to the shops. 

DJ Joel Corry donned a sharp Dolce and Gabanna suit with a pin and chain on the lapel as he prepared for his turn on the red carpet as Headie One showed off his stylish outfit.

Jessie Ware revealed she had a face massage, joking: ‘Getting my puffy preggo chops worked out ready for red carpet.’

Griff, who won the Brits rising star award, revealed that she had received a bunch of flowers from Taylor Swift before the show, along with a cute note from Tay Tay herself hoping to meet Griff later on. 

The Brit Awards airs on ITV from 8pm.
