"I didn't even want to want to leave the house or go anywhere – I was like a hermit in my home.

"I didn't speak to anyone for a year. I literally saw nobody, so I definitely didn't have a love life. I didn't even have a life."

The mum-of-two said it got so bad that she began turning down work offers which she says had a massive impact on her financially.

She continued: "I just couldn’t bear to do anything. Every time I had an offer to work I would just turn it down, so it massively impacted me financially.

"Then lockdown happened and I kept eating because of the stress and I just ballooned and got bigger and bigger."

The reality star has now lost seven stone after undergoing a secret gastric sleeve operation last year.

After doctors warned her about her blood pressure, the TV personality had no choice but to confront the issue.

"I have my kids who I need to be a role model for. It’s not healthy for them to see me yo-yo'ing with my weight," Chanelle divulged.

"I went to the doctors before my operation at the very beginning of the pandemic last year because I was just exhausted all the time, I felt horrendous.

"They said a lot of it was down to my weight because I was putting so much stress on my body."

Following conversations with a psychologist and a nutritionist, Chanelle decided to get the gastric sleeve operation and has dropped down to a dress size 10 and only eats 400 calories per meal.

The brunette beauty, who displayed her weight loss in a figure-hugging crop top, told The Sun: "I am so happy; I don’t remember ever being this happy or content with where my life is going in every aspect.

"Not just looks, because it’s had such a huge impact on my mental and physical health, it’s absolutely changed my life."
