Former Real Housewives of Cheshire star Christine McGuinness has shared a stunning snap to Instagram and revealed that she has returned back to work after the festive period.

The TV star, 34, playfully showed off her legs as she posed in some thigh-high silver boots in a behind-the-scenes snap from a recent project.

In the photo's caption, Christine wrote: "I’m Baaack!!! And wow it feels good. Today was my first day back to work after weeks at home over Christmas and New Year.. I only lost my mind 500 times.

"But seriously, Today was the first time I felt like my usual self, I really do love my life and everything being back to normal. This is BTS. Can’t wait to show you this shoot."

Fans were quick to compliment the model-turned-documentary maker, with one writing: "Hi Christine love your boots you look absolutely hot in them."

While another commented: "Stunning lady Christine, look forward to seeing your shoot" and a third wrote: "Those boots look amazing. The world is yours."

It comes after Christine spent the festive period with estranged husband Paddy so as not to “disrupt” their children’s lives.

Christine and Paddy, 49, share twins Leo and Penelope, nine, who were diagnosed with autism in 2017, while their daughter Felicity, six, was given the same diagnosis three years later.

And Christine, who also revealed she had the condition last year, has told pals it’s important to maintain as much stability as possible, especially over a stressful period such as Christmas.

A source close to the former couple told OK!: "They’re doing what’s best for the children. The most important thing for the children is a routine and they don’t want to disrupt that. Nothing will be different just because they’re no longer together."

Announcing their split last year Paddy and Christine explained that they will continue to live in the same house together as their children remain their priority.

The former couple released a statement, sharing the sad news, which read: "We hadn't planned on sharing this publicly until we were ready but after the lack of privacy surrounding our personal life, we feel left with no other option but to clarify.

"A while ago we took the difficult decision to separate but our main focus as always is to continue loving and supporting our children. This was not an easy decision to make but we're moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children.

"We'll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together. We hope this now draws a line under anymore unwanted and unnecessary intrusion into our private life.

"Although we work in the public eye we ask kindly if you could respect our wishes for privacy on this matter. We'll be making no further comment."

The couple signed off: "Loads of love. Paddy & Christine."
