Victoria is glowing in the series of snaps as she smiles and shows off her bump with a variety of silky sheets.

The star said she decided to keep the news of her pregnancy quiet until November due to her health and only now has shown off her growing baby bump. Victoria was diagnosed with sickle cell anaemia when she was 22. She explained in a recent interview: “We thought we would try next year. So when this pregnancy came along we were like, 'It's happening.’

"It did come as a bit of a surprise but it's so unbelievably exciting."

The star explained that she knew friends who miscarried and therefore decided to wait to the 12 week mark before telling her parents.

She added: “As I have sickle cell, this is regarded as a high-risk pregnancy but the team at St Mary's Hospital in Manchester are amazing and I see my sickle cell specialist, my obstetrician and my midwife every month and they really look after me."

Victoria joined Coronation Street in 2017 as Angie Appleton, the wife of Jude Appleton, who is the biological son of Mary Taylor.

Angie arrived in Weatherfield with her husband and their baby son, George. Her storylines included discovering that her husband had been conceived as a result of the rape of his mother, as well as discussions around post-natal depression when she struggled to bond with her baby son.

Since her last appearance on Corrie, Victoria has shown she has another talent on her roster. The actress appeared on the rebooted version of X Factor: Celebrity in 2019.

She was in Nicole Sherzinger’s tutor group and belted out a rendition of INXS’ ‘Never Tear Us Apart’ on the first week and Beyonce’s ‘Why Don’t You Love?’ in week two.

Victoria has also tested her general knowledge on The Chase: Celebrity Special and appeared in 2019 musical drama series Almost Never.

Now, she’s preparing for an exciting new chapter of her life as she gears up to meet her new son.
