Courteney Cox’s daughter Coco, 18, is all grown up as they pose together at Scream VI premiere

Courteney Cox beamed with pride on Monday night, 6 March, as her 18 year old daughter Coco joined her on the red carpet.

Courteney and her castmates came together for the premiere of Scream VI in New York, where the Friends alumni reprised her role as Gale Weathers after 12 years.

Gale is the only Scream character to feature in all five instalments of the franchise, with the fourth film hitting cinemas in 2011.

In snaps taken of the mother-daughter duo on Monday night, Courteney, 58, cut a cool figure in a black mini dress and tights, which she paired with a velvet blazer and strappy heels.

Coco meanwhile opted for a much brighter ensemble and sported a bright red midi milkmaid dress with black platform sandals.

The teenager wore her blonde tresses down and straight, as her 58 year old mum opted for a similar ‘do.

This is the second time Coco has been out supporting her celebrity mum of late after she made an appearance at Courteney’s ceremony for her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Gushing over Coco at her milestone event, the actress said: “Coco, you’re perfect.

“It’s not easy to grow up in this business, and I just want you to know you shine and you shine in your own unique light.

“I love you so much, I’m so proud of you. I’m proud to be your mom.”

Courteney’s close pals Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow were also there and gave a speech about their friend of 30 years.

Jennifer said while standing at the ceremony podium: “We're very honoured to be here today to speak on your behalf as your co-workers, your friends, and your family, your sisters. And that's happened since we've known you for a very long time.”

Lisa then pointed out they’d been friends for almost three decades after meeting in the 90s, to which Jennifer quipped: “Not 30 years ago. That’s a typo.”

The Good Morning America star continued to say: “To be friends with Courteney is to be family with Courteney. She is responsible for all of that. From the beginning of when we met her, she was immediately inclusive, warm, loving, interested in everything about you.”

Lisa added: “Courteney, we just want to say that we are deeply, deeply proud to know you. You are the definition of a truly beautiful, talented, and, what's most important, a truly good and decent human being… Thank you for enriching our lives personally.”

Courtney’s new movie Scream VI hits cinemas across the globe on Friday, 10 March.
