We are only two weeks into the new series of Dancing on Ice, and the show has already been plauged with injuries and exits galore.

Now actress Faye Brookes could reportedly be asked to leave the skating show after promoting brands on her Instagram page which is against the rules of her contract.

The former Coronation Street star, who is in a relationship with partner Joe Davies, plugged fitness massage gun called MyBodyFitPal and a clothing brand Roxy Joggers but mentioned the show's name within the post.

Both posts have since been deleted from the 33 year old's Instagram page.

A source told The Sun: "No one is telling the celebrities they can't use their social media or have commercial deals.

"But what the contracts clearly state is that you need written permission in advance if you are going to use either ITV's name or the name of the show.

"According to the contracts, the celebrities have to speak to ITV and get formal permission before any posts, which the deletion suggests Faye has not done.

"Ultimately, breaking a contract could result in the termination of a contract."

Faye's rule break comes after her co-star Denise Van Outen was forced to exit the competition after a nasty injury left her with three bone fractures and partial shoulder dislocation.

The actress took to Instagram to announce her departure, alongside a picture of herself and skating partner Matt Evers.

The 46 year old wrote: "GUTTED! if you've been watching @dancingonice you will be aware that just over a week ago I had a nasty fall and injured my shoulder.

"I managed to skate my first dance with @mattevers on the live show through a gritted smile because the pain was unbearable."

The TOWIE voiceover, who has been replaced by Olympian Amy Tinkler, continued: "I've tried as hard as I can to carry on because I love the show and the amazing team in front and behind the cameras.

"Initially we thought with rest I could make a return to the ice, but a recent MRI scan has shown that I have 3 bone fractures as well as a partial dislocation. OUCH! No wonder I've been in agony."

OK! Online have reached out to Faye's representatative as well as ITV for comment.
