Danniella Westbrook teases secrets in autobiography after EastEnders snub

Danniella Westbrook has assured EastEnders fans there will be as many bombshells in her next autobiography as there are on an average week in Albert Square.

The actress tweeted a teaser of what fans can expect in her new book on Sunday 30 January, after threatening to take legal action against the BBC soap after she was snubbed for the revival role of Sam Mitchell.

Actress Kim Medcalf, who played Sam from 2002 to 2005, has been chosen as the Sam that will return to Albert Square.

Danniella has hinted there will be fiery revelations of her numerous times starring as Samantha Mitchell in Walford and a new chapter may be in the works.

The 48 year old cryptically shared with her 228,000 followers: "Bet you all can’t wait for my new book now can ya ….. oh it’s gonna go way back to the things I’ve never ever told."

She signed off the tweet with the hashtags "be afraid people" and "its all good."

In previous social media posts Danniella sent well-wishes to her character's replacement.

The star wrote: “Wishing Kym the best of luck at @BBCEastenders__ yet again this poor woman has to recreate a Samantha Mitchell as close to my last two recent come backs on the square go smash it darling..x"

But Danniella, who recently opened up about her experience with depression, aimed the final part of her tweet to the EastEnders legal team.

She continued: "oh but not to @bbceastenders my legal team will be in touch…”

The BBC declined to comment when approached by OK!.

The Only Fans model played the role of Sam from the character’s introduction in 1990 to 1993, coming back for a year from 1995 to 1996 and then 1999 to 2000.

She later returned to Albert Square as Sam in 2009 and 2016.

Danniella has written two autobiographies before, The Other Side of Nowhere was the title of her first tell-all book in 2006. She followed with her second book called Faith, Hope and Clarity in 2013.

The author recently told fans she'll be fighting fit next year ahead of her 50th birthday.

She declared her future transformation with a proud post stating, "will be back too my best and fighting fit and next year I will be 50! Bring it on…I’m ready…More than ready, I’m ready for a full transformation physically.”

A date for her new book has not been confirmed so fans will have to wait before reading the fallout from her latest experience as Sam Mitchell.
