DWTS’ Carrie Ann Inaba Accused Of Causing Huge Accident

Dancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba hasn’t had it easy the last few years. In 2020, Sheryl Underwood announced on The Talk that the professional dancer had tested positive for COVID-19 and was taking a break from her Talk hosting duties to recover at home. In a video posted to her Instagram following the revelation, Inaba, who is immunocompromised, said she suffered from “a fever, a bad cough, and lots of aches and pains.” She also used it as a warning to her followers. “So friendly reminder to stay vigilant, take care of yourself, wear your mask, wash your hands a lot, and just be extra, extra careful because you don’t want this,” she warned.

Now, Inaba’s troubles continue as she is facing some possible legal trouble originating from a car accident that occurred in 2019. Keep reading to learn why Carrie Ann Inaba was accused of causing a huge accident.

Carrie Ann Inaba might need to pay up for the accident

The Blast reported on Feb. 18, 2021 that Carrie Ann Inaba has been blamed for a car accident in Los Angeles in December 2019 and the other person involved, Jessie Zimbro, is looking for reparations. The outlet reported that Zimbro said the Dancing with the Stars judge caused him pain, mental suffering, and severe injuries from the car accident. “Defendant’s negligence was a direct, proximate and legal cause of the injuries sustained by Plaintiff,” the complaint alleges. Zimbro also alleged that Inaba was driving in an irresponsible manner and that he suffered “wage loss, loss of use of his car, medical expenses, and the loss of earning capacity” following the accident.

Zimbro is asking for more than $25,000 in damage, including property damage and personal injuries. The Blast noted that the star will have to defend herself in front of a judge. No date or timeline for the case has been released as of this writing, and Inaba hasn’t publicly commented on the matter, either.
